Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Vantage Prop at vantageprop.tech (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. The Service is operated under Australian law.

2. Description of Service

Vantage Prop is an investment property tracking application that allows users to monitor financial performance of their investment properties, import and categorise financial statements, and track income and expenses. The Service is intended for personal and small business use.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscription & Payments

Free Plan: A free tier is available with limited features (1 property, 5 statements, 2 months tracking).

Premium Plan: The Premium plan is available at AUD $7.99/month (inclusive of GST if applicable), billed monthly. Pricing may change with 30 days notice.

Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment details.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your Premium access will continue until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.

Refunds: Refunds are provided at our discretion in accordance with Australian Consumer Law where applicable.

5. User Obligations

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise the security of the Service
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the Service
  • Use the Service to process data belonging to third parties without authorisation

6. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service. You grant us a limited licence to process that data solely to provide the Service to you.

7. Financial Information Disclaimer

Vantage Prop is a data organisation and tracking tool. It does not provide financial, tax, or investment advice. The information displayed in the Service is based on data you provide and may not be accurate or complete. Always consult a qualified financial adviser or accountant for financial decisions.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Vantage Prop and protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Vantage Prop is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, financial loss, or business interruption. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned maintenance.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may terminate or suspend your account if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and we may delete your data after a reasonable retention period.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
